We calculate the great-circle distance between departure and arrival airports using their latitude and longitude coordinates.

Distance is divided by typical cruise speed for the selected class, adding 15 min for climb/descent and taxi buffers.

Flight hours are multiplied by the class hourly rate. Round-trips are calculated as two one-way segments with return positioning.
